“DRUG PREVENTION SEMINAR AND FEEDING PROGRAM”
On the day of March 7, 2009 we, NSTP Students of AMA Computer College Santiago Campus assembled at the Heritage Building at exactly 7:30 in the morning then we go to the place where we will implement the program and then we implemented a seminar for the youths in the Brgy. Malvar, Santiago City. The seminar was all about Drug Prevention and a feeding program for the children. The program was facilities by us, C1 NSTP students.
Before the seminar have started we, C1 as in charge for the seminar and feeding program cooked the foods for the children and decorated the venue. On the first part of the seminar an invocation is led by a C1 student and then the singing of the National Anthem led by Mrs. Lara Jane Sado of C1. After the invocation and singing of the National Anthem, the introduction of the guest speaker by Mrs. Ma Joy Bernadeth Fermin and then the inspirational talk of the guest speaker. The guest speaker, Chief Inspector Malinlin talked all about how drug addiction affects to the body of the user, how to site a user and many more. After the seminar is the awarding of the certificate then closing re-marks. After that is the feeding program for the children. All the C1 BSIT students distributed the food for the children with an estimated 50 and above respondents. The seminar and feeding program successfully ended.
